that phrase has been in my head these past few days, and no wonder,what with school starting tomorrow.

but that's not the only one thing.

I've been unconsciously repeating it over and over in my head until recently I realized that what I was saying(in my head) was wrong, instead of the word 'chance', I'd used 'choice'.

I think my subconscious is trying to tell me something.

you know, believe it or not, there once was a time when I was actually genuinely interested and passionate about mandarin.

sure, it was only a brief window of time, but it existed.

it was at the end of 2004 to the middle of 2005.

I'd just got back from a family trip to Tasmania.

my mum's friend had come with us on that trip and she'd brought along DVDs of old chinese movies, like 'Dream of the Red Chamber', 'The Kingdom and the Beauty', 'The Three smiles' 'The Love Eterne' etc.

it's funny but I really liked these shows, and many more, and so for some time I really wanted to improve my own command of mandarin.

I still like these shows, and occasionally do still watch them.

I guess the reason I miss Korea so much,

is that it was an escape from reality, it represented freedom, and happiness

a time that was without burden and worry.

Jia Min is always telling me that Pisces people like to daydream and escape from reality.

well she's right.

because reality can sometimes slap you so hard in the face. Multiple times.

just finished baking brownies for tomorrow's(or rather,today's) Christmas celebration.

thinking through the events of my most recent holiday in South Korea, and comparing it with my trip to Japan earlier this year, I realize that my feelings fluctuate as the holiday progresses.

I shall call this the "Holiday Feelings Curve", based on a 7 day tour of a foreign country.

Day 1: YIPPEE YAY YAY YAY I AM SO EXCITED TO BE GOING TO ANOTHER COUNTRY!!!

Day 2: This is so fun I love this place so many different sights and sounds!!!!!

Day 3: Why do I always have to wake up so early???? I hate this place I regret coming here, I want to go back to Singapore now!!!!!

Day 4: Hmm...Okay fine, I guess I could get used to this place, it isn't so bad after all...

Day 5: Lalala~ I kind of like this place..

Day 6: OMG 1 DAY LEFT??? NONONONONONONONO I LOVE THIS PLACE I DON'T WANT TO GO BACK!!!!!!!

Day 7: Back in Singapore already???? WTF NOOOOOOO (starts whining and ranting about Singapore)

I miss my super awesome amazing incredible patient reassuring bilingual Korean tour guide who, as an extra bonus, looks damn, damn hot in a suit.

my dry skin is the bane of my existence.

also, I regret not getting a new nose when I was in Korea.

it's too fun waking up in the late afternoon though, that way I feel better about staying at home on the computer when I should be outside enjoying the fresh air because most of the day's already past, the sun'll be going down soon...it's just...a lazy time of the day.

my room is almost done, except for a cupboard which my mum assures me she'll get...when she's in the mood.

it seems that every time I'm sick I seek solace in the comfort of the written word.

these past two days when I was sick, I simply curled up in bed with my books and just read.

it's been so long since I'd done that and I miss it.

nowadays I'm usually too occupied with the internet to really sit down and read for a prolonged period of time.

but alas, the clock is ticking and dark days are fast approaching...

oh that I could skip ahead to next wednesday when I'll have nothing else to fear!

on another note, my nose is running like a broken sink, I wonder if that's a legitimate reason to skip training? But I kid, why would I even want to?

the wondrous joy of the game, the exhilarating rush of adrenaline, the extraordinary sense of camaraderie and the unbelievable sense of satisfaction I get is enough to spur me on and inspire and instill within me the heart and soul of a sportsman. If I was not convinced before I am now.

I wonder at how long it's taken me to discover and embrace this side of me.

all my life I've scorned and sneered at sporting activities of all kinds and now look at me!

I've been converted. I'm a changed woman.

I am humbled by my past ignorance. I can scarcely bear to think of how I'd treated it before.

and so do I end my most humble apology,

I can only hope that with this I may gain redemption and seek forgiveness for all my past wrongs, and continue on this path of truth and honour and righteousness.

I love rainy days.
rainy weather = lazy weather which means I don't feel guilty about vegetating in front of the computer all day long because hey, it's not like I can go outside and commune with nature or something.

I am definitely in the holiday mood, and I think it's unrealistic for teachers to expect us to actually do homework now.

I mean, it's bad enough forcing us to come to school and sit through boring lectures,

they should be grateful we're even turning up, let alone expecting us to do work?????

I saw christmas decorations while out shopping today.

remembering it now, reminds me that Christmas is (sort of) near, which also reminds me that the year is coming to an end.

listening to Kat-tun's 'White Christmas', while reading through kamichan's old blog posts, and reminiscing about Hey!Say!Jump's four year career has put me in a nostalgic mood.

I know it's a a bit early to be writing a "yet another year has passed" post, and yet, just like that, another year has indeed passed.

this time last year, the celebrations for the end of O'levels had barely even started

now? I'm thinking about how I'm going to have to really buck up for next year's A'levels.

I can't believe I actually survived one year in jc and came out, well, not totally unscathed, but at least in one piece.

I still remember the euphoria, the excitement, the relief, and later, the anxiety, the fear that comes with change, that comes with the beginning of a new chapter of your life.

there were times this year when I questioned where I was and what I was doing

but...I guess I don't regret making the decisions I did.

I've learnt so many new things

it's been.....an interesting year.

I sincerely regret all the wasted years when I didn't go early. Because it is definitely worth it.
I also regret not bringing more money with me today.
some would say that I'm wasting my money on frivolous items of no real use, and to that I would like to say : Stuff You.
because 4 wall scrolls and more later, I am a happy girl. And happiness, as they say, is priceless.

I know it's just a movie, but I am still amazed at how Anthony immediately starts planning to kidnap Johanna after seeing her ONCE. Oh but apparently he "means no harm"
Yeah right, after he keeps going on about how he's going to "steal her" and how he "feels her".
I'm sorry but that just seems creepy to me.

Okay fine, it is kinda sweet that he goes wandering around London looking for her to rescue her, instead of just randomly killing people.

and the little boy is so cute! Up until he cuts the guy's throat.

1 week of glorious freedom...of lazing around all day, not waking up till evening and not sleeping till early morning, watching movies non-stop on funshion etc.

I think I may have what it's called, an addictive personality,
as seen from my binges on chocolate,crackers, toffees, coffee, and most recently, pistachio nuts. I apparently ate so much I developed a sore throat and almost fell sick.
people with an addictive personality will "show impulsive behavior such as excessive caffeine consumption, internet usage, eating of chocolates or other sugar-laden foods, television watching, or even running"
now with the exception of the running part, that totally tells the story of my life.
so great, in the course of my revision for my exams I've just discovered a new disorder that I most likely have. (this was done through the use of the internet, which I tried to ban myself from by giving my laptop to my mother but which I can and do still access now from the desktop. Oops)
see I used to think I had bipolar disorder, but then no, I found out that that's just puberty and hormones and stuff.
but I really do think I have an addictive personality, I mean, it would really explain a lot of things.
like how obsessed I will get over new things that I like.
For example, I managed to finish watching all 6 seasons of how I met your mother in the last 1.5 weeks of the june holidays.
Or, how back in 2009, I managed to read 100+ chapters of a manga online in one day instead of doing my e-learning.
Or the countless number of times I have binged on random assorted food items.

and this revelation and blog post actually serve no purpose except to further prolong my procrastination.

jc life has officially screwed up my sleep cycle like nothing before
I sleep at odd hours of the night(sometimes I don't sleep at all-like today), nap at random times(my naps span 4-8hours) and my sleeping habits are now even worse than they were during the holidays(which should give you some inkling of how bad it is), the difference being that during the holidays, i was averaging 12 hours of sleep a day while I am now reduced to an average of 4 -5 pathetic hours of sleep per day.

people, be warned- never, I repeat, NEVER take h2 history, unless you have the good fortune to have an extremely good, friendly teacher. Otherwise you're on your own and screwed. Or unless you happen to be some cyborg with photographic memory I guess.

August special: Ways I fail as a person

1. Last Sunday, 19 000 people visited the Istana. 3 people somehow managed to lose their way and ended up wandering around Sophia road. Guess who was one of them?

2. It's been more than a year since I moved into my new house. On Wednesday I just found out that there is a papaya tree in my backyard...when my tuition teacher pointed it out.

3. This is the second time in a row I have forgotten to bring my graphic calculator to school for an important maths test because I spent the night before studying and left it on my desk instead of putting it in my school bag.

On another note, I like sitting in front during my economics tuition because NO ONE CAN BLOCK MY VIEW OF THE WHITE BOARD ANYMORE. Oh, and teachers tend not to focus on students sitting right in front. And since no one else wants to sit in front, I get the whole table and 3 extra chairs to dump all my stuff on.

the one thing that brings a smile to my face is hearing the energetic angelic voice of chinen yuri!

his wide, sweet sincere smile never fails to lighten up my day.
while watching his newest performances, the pain from my cramps miraculously disappeared, I felt so happy and contented and I was smiling stupidly at the computer screen the whole time.

if I'd known how hard literature would be, I never would have taken it, I was better off sticking with maths.
as it is, I can't do anything now but try to soldier on and hope for the best.
the immense weight of homework is slowly but surely crushing me.
the time between 2am-5am is when I feel most hopeless and at a loss...(why am I even awake at that time? Homework, what else)
nothing in Deyi could have ever prepared me for JC life, heck even the times before O'levels were quite restful compared to the times now,

the thing is, I was much more motivated then, I had a goal, I wanted to prove myself, I had people to do well for.
now, I've lost all motivation.
I find no meaning in my work, no sense of accomplishment even when i finish it, no reason to work hard, and so I don't.
but then I feel guilty, so I try to do my work, and then end up getting even more frustrated with myself because I don't know how to do it, and then I decide what's the point, I might as well not do it then, but then change my mind and the vicious cycle goes on and on....
I honestly don't know how long I can continue on like this, but I know I seriously need to get it out of my system or I will flunk out and get retained.

Day 1:

Got to the airport(terminal 1) late, so the rest of the tour group had already checked in and we didn't get to see them.

Boarded the flight to Japan, flying there on Japan airlines.
Flight is surprisingly comfortable,and the food is not bad.

Day2: Nikko

Arrived at Haneda airport,got our luggage, and met the Tour Group.
So there are eleven of us, including me and my mum, and even now, I still don't know over half of their names.

Tour Group:

-Old couple on holiday

-Family of 3
son is waiting for A'level results, his sister was left at home

-Family of 4
younger sister is waiting for A'level results, older sister is already in university.

-My mum and I

-Singaporean tour guide who can't shut up

some shrines and stuff( I couldn't really understand what the tour guide is saying since he's speaking mandarin almost all the time)

after that, off to lunch!

We did some snow boarding. Well, not real snowboarding. Basically we just sat in this plastic thingy and slid down the slope.

it's funny how the rest of the tour group were all excited to visit the seafood market, but ended up spending 1 hour bargaining...

for apples instead.
I mean, I get that Aomori is famous for its apples and all that, but seriously, 1 hour?

After they finally finished shopping, we went to some other shopping mall before heading off to the airport for our domestic flight back to Tokyo, which was delayed by about an hour due to the heavy snowfall.

After arriving in Tokyo, we went to Lalaport, basically a big shopping mall, then dinner.

then back to our hotel, which to our horror, is in some kind of shipyard?!

Day7: Tokyo (last day in Japan!)

After breakfast, we all headed out on our own, from Shinagawa station, where our guide had kindly brought us.
My mum and I took the train to Akihabara because I had a personal goal for the day: to find the shop 'Animate'.
Which is quite hard, seeing as I've never been to Tokyo before, and the names of the buildings I'd marked down as landmarks were mostly in Japanese katakana

yes! I finally found it!!
but to be honest, it was quite disappointing...but then maybe it's because I'm not a guy and am not interested in scantily clad girls with big boobs.

so we just walked around Akihabara for awhile, and I failed to find any of the anime series I was looking for.

some train outside the Shimbashi station.

met the rest of the tour group at the Shinagawa station and went to Haneda airport for our flight back to Singapore.

I don't know if it was just me, but I found the flight back to Singapore extremely uncomfortable. The headrest was at a really awkward position and for some reason, it was freaking cold!
The flight to Tokyo wasn't cold at all(I didn't even need to use the blanket) but the flight back to Singapore was so cold,I was still shivering even though I was wearing a turtleneck,and wrapped up in a blanket.

I miss Japan so much, but then I realized that I only ever ate chicken once in Japan, and I tried so many new things I would normally never eat in Singapore. And will continue not to eat,now that I'm back.

you know what I hate most about being a girl?
PERIODS.

I absolutely hate getting my period.
maybe it's not so bad for some girls because they're lucky enough to have really light periods that they can take minimal notice of.
but not so for the unfortunate number of girls like myself.
when my period comes, it literally takes over my life for the next 3-4 days.
and it's not as if my period even lasts 3-4 days. It lasts at least a WEEK.
not only do I have to deal with menstrual cramps, mood swings,but also heavy flow.
I absolutely HATE all those stupid smiling cheerful girls in pad advertisements, where they put on like one pad and then are free to spin about and roll on beds the whole day regardless of their "heavy" flow.
LIES. ALL LIES.
you know what I like to do on the first day of my period?
curl up in a fetal position on my bed or vegetate in front of the computer and snap at everyone at the slightest thing.
I can't even wear one pad to sleep every night, I have to freaking wake up every 4 hours to change my bloody pad(no pun intended) because if I don't, there is a high chance I will stain my bedsheets.
heck, I have to use overnight pads even during the day,unless I want to start changing pads every 1-2 hours or something.
and yes, I am having my period now, just right before my bloody Japan trip,
which is why I'm getting so bloody worked up about it.

(all content from this point may be unfair and one-sided because I am having my period and am pissed off,so I'm just going to say anything I want regardless of whatever. If you are male, and easily offended/ can't take a joke, just don't read on. Take the following with a pinch of salt)

I think it's unfair that only girls get periods.

this year has been one of the most significant years of my life.
so many important things have happened,
so I just thought that I'll list them down here, since I'm too lazy to actually write them down somewhere to remember.
so in order of when they popped into my head:

O'levels.

Moving house, significant since I've lived there for 10 years.

Getting 2 dogs.

1 dog dying.

First time I stayed over at a chalet.

First time my friends came over to stay at my house.

Getting my own room.

Getting a fireplace. (I know everyone's too nice to tell me I'm crazy for doing this,even if it was my mum's idea in the first place, I just encouraged her. But let's face it, who doesn't want their own fireplace????)

Learning how to play mahjong.

Getting braces.

and....
yeah,I think that's about everything.

I finally watched The Chronicles Of Narnia: The Voyage Of The Dawn Treader today.

it was quite good, if a bit short, and I enjoyed the effects.
since it's been at least five years since I last read the book, I only vaguely remember the story, but I'm sure some parts were definitely different.

Skandar Keynes, who plays Edmund, is all grown up now, and, in my opinion, has gotten pretty cute.

I don't know how he did it, but Ben Barnes, who plays Prince Caspian, is all hot now.

he looks so much better in this movie than in the Prince Caspian movie.
I have no idea how he changed so much.
a new hairstyle?
well at least his new facial hair suits him.

but then again, he still looks great without it.

went ice skating yesterday!
couldn't go in as early as I wanted to, because there was a fire drill.
but it was really fun!
especially after the ice was resurfaced.
however, I really think some ground rules need to be laid.
some people are just so rude,oblivious and ignorant.
I mean, if everyone around you is skating in one direction,
obviously you don't go and skate in the OPPOSITE direction right?
and stupid little kids using the metal helper, don't think that makes you invincible so you can go speeding around with no regard for other people around you.
and if out of 4 people, only one of you can skate, then don't freaking all link hands and try to skate!
what the heck.
and can't people keep out of the centre of the rink?
even I feel bad for the figure skaters who are just trying to practice.

and I bought a winter jacket!

the reason I'm awake,
is because I haven't slept yet.

I've been up the entire night.
I really need to break this bad habit of mine.
sleeping so late at night that it's early in the morning,
then waking up the next day just in time for an early dinner.
I want to sleep and wake up early, I do!
but I get carried away when I'm watching dramas/manga/youtube videos etc.
basically whenever I'm on the computer.

then don't use the computer at night!
yeah,but I don't like using the computer during the day, because I think it's a waste of time or daylight, whatever.

and no, I'm not going to give up on using the computer.
ah well, hopefully I'll snap out of it before school starts next year.

this is the first time in four years that there is NO HOLIDAY HOMEWORK!!!!!!!!!!!!!
no feelings of guilt that I'm playing instead of studying/revising,

I love the fact that this blogskin doesn't have an archives so people can't go back and read my past posts because they were so absolutely horrible and immature that even I cringed with horror while rereading them.
but I guess it doesn't matter now,since I've just spent the last hour deleting more than half of my original posts.

I scraped my leg against the rubber matting at the playground on sunday while on the swing trying to retrieve my slipper on the ground without getting off,or stopping the swing,
something I'm sure we've all tried before.
so I failed,and ended with some cuts,which I thought were pretty minor and would heal soon because the skin just came out.
however,they got even worse and are now red,swollen,infected and still oozing pus.
I can't even walk properly,
and they seriously look disgusting.
it's just as well that I don't have a job.
I hope they recover soon!

went to the choir farewell party yesterday and got a free piece of paper!!
I guess it's easier for me to feel happy about choir when the members aren't surrounding me and pissing me off.
but honestly, I'm very grateful to choir( some teachers yes, our dear scary conductor, maybe some members),more like you know, as a whole, a cca? something like that anyway.
after all, it was choir that allowed me to escape from the hellhole known as Deyi NPCC.
I know that I've been quite vocal about my dislike of NPCC, and after four years,
I think I'm mature enough to safely say that I STILL HATE THEIR GUTS.

but who knows,maybe 20 years down the road I'll look back and laugh at the good old days in NPCC,
remembering all the wonderful memories and lasting bonds of friendship forged there.

so today I finally caved in and decided to watch Hana Yori Dango,

but only because Matsuda Shota's in it,and I've nothing else to watch.

well,
I tried, really, I tried.
but about halfway through the third episode, I honestly couldn't take it anymore
it is just Too. Freaking.Predictable.
and I know lots of dramas are too, and you can pretty much guess the endings,
but,
I JUST CAN'T STAND IT.
usually, if the drama is good, I'll still watch it to the end, even though I already know the ending.
but with this drama,even Shota couldn't make me continue (although if he's the main character, then that's another story)

this is just like Nagareboshi.
I only started watching it because of Shota.
but since he's only a minor character, I didn't see any point in watching beyond the first episode.
why?
because I already knew exactly how the entire story would pan out,
and it was going to be another one of those typical long whiny irritating romance dramas.
you know,
guy meets girl,
obstacles,
both start getting feelings for each other but don't dare say anything,
more obstacles,
a bit of crying and hair pulling and sitting in the rain and/or wandering aimlessly with a sad/forlorn/lonely face
something terribly inspiring and miraculous happens.
guy gets girl,
happy ending.

I'm going to sleep now.

O'LEVELS ARE FINALLY OVER!!!!!!

I felt so relieved and happy when the answer paper was finally taken out of my hand, but now I just feel so aimless.
it's always so much more fun slacking off when you're supposed to studying.
but then, I guess it always will be
not that I miss the days before O'levels or anything, I am positively ecstatic that it's over

but enough of that, I am now going to address the very serious question of why i shut down my blog for several months.
actually, I was dealing with some personal problems and serious issues in my life just then and I just felt too depressed to continue blogging anymore.
as to the problems, I won't say much, but for those who know, I really thank you for all the support and encouragement that you've given me these past few months,it's been so hard for me and I couldn't have made it without you guys.

went to the anime festival today.

the highlight of the day was the unexpected visit to Hershey's Chocolate world.
freaking giant bars of chocolate and Hershey's kisses stacked everywhere, how could I resist????
the only problem is,
WHY ARE THERE NO GIANT BARS OF THE COOKIES AND CREAM CHOCOLATE??????
the giant bars of chocolate only come in milk or dark chocolate,which,granted, is delicious as well, but still,

this girl was trying to seduce her sister's BOYFRIEND.
she was chatting on her hand phone, and her side of the conversation was something like this:

i have no idea why she suddenly started spouting the " 3 person secret"thingy, i almost started laughing at that point because the way she speaks is really weird, her voice is shrill and harsh and her choice of words?
Hilarious. one of the most entertaining bus rides ever.

also,
people who are so sick that they have to sit out of the activity should not even bother coming for it, especially if it takes place in an ENCLOSED AIR-CONDITIONED ROOM.
because no one is impressed with the fragile weak condition they keep trying to portray,

funny how i never noticed that vincent is such a common name...
i mean, i know a vincent, my eldest brother knows a vincent, my dad knows a vincent, when i was walking back from tuition today, i overheard this guy talking on his phone about a vincent!

i absolutely can not and must not read any new books during week days.
why?
because i get so absorbed in the book that i can't do anything else until i've finished reading it.
especially detective and romance novels.
detective novels because i really want to find out who did it and how,
and romance novels because even though i know the two main characters WILL be getting together at the end of the book, i just have to keep reading till the end to make sure that they DO get together.
and i refuse to simply read the ending instead.
because i like not knowing the ending till the end,
even if it renders me completely useless because i can't stop reading.

also, i find that i have this habit of simply ignoring grammatical and spelling errors in the things i read.
my mind just automatically corrects it so i don't even notice anything.
unless of course, the error is glaringly obvious.

i need sleep.

i finally got my braces done! the braces are light blue, and according to my dentist, my teeth are gonna hurt like hell tomorrow....

i did enough shopping to last me the year.
actually, i only bought 4 new tops, but sneer/ roll your eyes all you want, that's all i actually need, since it's not like my social calendar is packed or anything.

i want to know if i look like the kind of person who stalks people and mug them in dark alleys, since there have been quite a lot of times when all i'm doing is walking behind a person, minding my own business, when suddenly,they spin around and shoot me a suspicious look.
yes, i admit i don't make a lot of noise when i walk, but so what?
why the heck would anyone stalk people? and why do some people feel the need to glance behind them at random times to check out the people behind them?
do they honestly believe that they are that attractive/ rich enough for people to deliberately follow them?

have you ever walked past one of those short skinny(read: scarecrow) girls wearing hot pants and a tiny t-shirt or tank top and noticed that as you were passing, they have this smug smirk on their faces?
excuse me, but are they seriously sneering at me simply because i am fatter than they are????
how pitiful.
especially since i'm usually a head taller than they are so OF COURSE i would be heavier.

why exactly do groups of students like to congregate right outside their school gate and block the whole pavement?
is the scenery there particularly breathtaking?

life's settled down, it's as if we never stopped going to school.....
i still feel dumb during maths, physics, and chemistry class since i seem to be the only one incapable of looking at a question and immediately knowing exactly how to go about solving it.

i got a new handphone, but still have no idea how to send a simple sms with it.

i have just spent what, 4 hours? writing 2 book reviews and 1 book talk.
yes, i admit that it's my fault for procrastinating so much,
but i still think forcing us to write book reviews is pointless.
especially for non-fiction books.
don't get me wrong, i actually liked the non-fiction book i read.
but, come on, 400 words???? i could write it in 40 freaking words!!!!

Title of book: The best i could by Subhas Anandan

This book is partly an autobiography of Subhas Anandan, a well known criminal lawyer. It also contains information on infamous cases he has taken on.

It is interesting and i recommend people interested in law to read it.

there, 38 words, not including the title, count it yourself.
see what i mean?
the other 360 words were basically the same thing written again and again differently.
i was literally sitting at my dining table at 2am flipping through the thesaurus looking for 5 other words with the same meaning as 'interesting' and 'good' since i'd used 'original' so many times in my other review i couldn't risk using it again.

i don't mind reading the books, honestly.
just don't make me write any reviews on it.

i'm back from my holiday in ..................singapore
haha, my family went to stay in the Ritz Carlton for 3 days.
it was absolutely fantastic!!
the hotel room was great!! especially the toilet!!!!!
i wish i had the pictures but it's in the camera and i don't know how to transfer it......

wow, 3 days passed so fast,
3 days spent sleeping, soaking in the bathtub, eating and lazing around,
that's exactly what should be done during the holidays!!

went to jubilee to watch new moon with si min today...
the theatre was EMPTY.
only the two of us inside watching....
haha, we spent like 1/2 of the time talking and commenting instead of watching since no one else is there..(except for the ushers who probably thought we were crazy)

and, we could feel construction going on right underneath us!!!
i got a shock when i sudenly felt and heard this tapping sound coming from beneath my seat....reminding me of genting.....
so we moved down 2 rows and continued watching.....
i think i must have yawned at least 5-6 times during the movie, though i don't know whether it's because i'm tired or the movie is boring......both i think...

oh, and i drew up 'wanted' posters for my handphone out of boredem...haha

went out with yen lin yesterday.
it's been what, 7-6 years since i last saw her?
she still pretty much looks the same though..
how time flies.....

i finally got to see our new house today! (which we'll move into hopefully at the end of next year)
it's really big, but cosy, and it has this sort of old english feel...
plus the kitchen has this really nice toffee/coffee smell mmmm....
i can't believe only 4 people live in it,
the 2 girls are really fortunate...
but i still can't believe that we'll soon be living there!( hopefully)
sigh...why can't the people hurry up and move out already???

well, COE is finally over and i'm finally updating.
i can't really believe that the school year is over...
i mean, we'll all be secondary 4 next year!

don't you just hate it when..........

when some one sprints across the lobby to catch the lift, shooting you a dirty look as they get in, like it's your fault you didn't see them across the lobby, then reach over to press the button and then you find out that they actually live on the SECOND floor?
and that it'll actually take a shorter time climbing up the stairs and less effort compared to sprinting across the lobby?

when you're in, let's say math tuition class, and you ask the teacher one question you just can't get, and the little runt beside you pipes up, "easy!" in this oh-so-superior i-know-how-to-solve-it-haha-you-don't voice?
because since you're in math tuition it's not THAT obvious you need help in math or anything.

why does everything always have to be about SOME people?
they talk incessantly about themselves, and when they aren't,
they're going around interrupting other people who are having perfectly ordinary conversations and starting up obnoxious conversations centering around themselves.
otherwise, they're either constantly whining about how bad their lives are and how nobody cares about them and mistreats them.
OR, they're going around rubbing it in other people's faces about just how loved they are.
they expect everybody to flock around them and hang on to their every word. or else they'll start sulking,
pouting and giving stupid pathetic looks all the time.
but the most irritating thing is that they dramatize every single little thing and whine about it the whole day.
obviously, they're so not going to get over themselves anytime soon.

today's inter house maths and science thingy was VERY stupid.
half an hour to do 45 questions.
i ended up randomly shading like 80% of the answers because i don't have enough time/don't know how to do

i will not waste so much of my time anymore.
i mean, i can still waste time, just not as much as before.
and certainly not on pointless irrelevant things which will not work out.
