today's sentosa trip was very fun!
it was mostly fillted with random encounters, fruitless searches and a bunch of stalker-ish moments but we managed to achieve our goal in the end!
the goal:
locate palawan beach.
which we did after walking around aimlessly for 2 whole hours.
the useless map, which only made us more lost

so we crossed the beach to this island and stopped to enjoy the breeze for some time.
two things i learned today:
1. i am directionally challenged.
2.birthday wishes do come true, if said at the right place.
which is, yes, at that watch tower place we were resting at.

on the bridge

we were waiting on the stairs...i'll tell you why later.

views from the sentosa monorail

merlion!

this is my first time seeing orchids up close!which is pathetic i know...

i wanted to jump into the water but there were too many people around...

so fun!!! too bad i can't join in...

oh, did i mention we were celebrating our birthdays as well?(that's why geok mooi was making birthday wishes. and one partly came true.)

both our presents!
my doll!
her brownies! in case you were wondering what it is.

alright! enough talk about these things. now for the truely random moments.

guess who we bumped into not once, but twice in sentosa?
james napoleon(is that how it's spelled?)
(i actually wanted to ask him for directions to palawan beach)
andand, while waiting at the stairs, who should come up it but....................
mr lau!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!(yes, my physics teacher)
when he saw us, he just smiled and waved like it was the most natural thing to bump into students at sentosa.
and then, we were going down the stairs while two random ang mohs were coming up it.
out of the blue they suddenly said "hello!"

so, (yes i will finally explain) we waited at the stairs for them to come down because the sun affected us and we wanted to take a picture with them.
hahahahahahahahahahahahaha
we even unintentionally stalked them all the way from the island to the station.

okay, after that, went back to ang mo kio so geok mooi could pierce her third ear hole
but first,we took the wrong mrt and ended up in..........Bartley(probably wrong spelling)
didn't i already say i was directionally challenged?

geok mooi's ear after piercing.
chocolates from candy empire!

anyway, today was truely enjoyable, despite some obstacles e.g our inability to find the right beach.
and so we've already planned another wish hunting trip!
