today was nice.
I had a restful night, the weather was actually pretty cool today,
public transport wasn't as crowded as usual,
I got to indulge a little in my glasses fetish,
my mum bought a giant box of seashell chocolates and when I got home the air conditioner in my room was fixed.
so let it be remembered that today was a good day

Today I want to express my gratitude for whatever coincidence or whim of fate that saw me paired up with my current partner for my research project. Okay so technically we're each doing separate projects and all, but we still need to work together a lot to create materials for the experiments, coordinate information, and bond over our mutual suffering. It's true I've been more sociable this semester, but there are still precious few people that I actively like and seek to spend more time with outside of routine, unavoidable interaction.  I guess I'm just marveling at the new found fact that I can, indeed, find people I like and want to hang out with. went to the anime festival today. or rather,yesterday, seeing as it's already past twelve. the highlight of the day was the unexpected visit to Hershey's Chocolate world. freaking giant bars of chocolate and Hershey's kisses stacked everywhere, how could I resist???? the only problem is, WHY ARE THERE NO GIANT BARS OF THE COOKIES AND CREAM CHOCOLATE?????? the giant bars of chocolate only come in milk or dark chocolate,which,granted, is delicious as well, but still, WHITE CHOCOLATE(if you're about to write some stupid comment about how white chocolate isn't really chocolate, shut up) yes, the anime festival was a disappointment. oh, and you may have noticed that I no longer have a tagboard. so due to my experience in staying up late, I thought I'll just plot a timeline on the changes in my mood throughout the night/early morning 10-11pm: meh still early,I'm FULL OF ENERGY!!!! 11pm-12am: omg I am dying save me I'm too tired I can't do this anymore 12-1am: okay fine, I guess I'm not so tired after all, I can do this 2-4am: I want to sleep now now now I mean now my bed is beckoning me I love my bed I swear I will never leave it again I hate the world I hate my life I hate everyone 4-5am: what is this I..... 5-7am: stupefied coma(basically operating on autopilot, don't expect me to respond) 7-???: depending on the time/my mood/the weather/etc. I will either be dead the whole day or lightheaded and giggly so now torn between sleep and my literature essay due tomorrow.
